The Galapagos Islands are a unique world class location. There are many magazines around the world that rate the Galapagos Archipelago among the worlds top destinations and one of the top five animal dives in the Pacific Basin, yet it remains relatively unknown among diving fans, it remains immaculate and relatively unexplored. The Queen of Galapagos, the Estrella del Mar I and Estrella del Mar II, are three motor yachts cruising the Galapagos Seas, looking for this enchanting areas to give divers a great combination of comfort and underwater natural beauty.
We highly recommend our 8 day trip to the North Islands of Darwin and Wolf. There you will find an impressive bio diversity which goes from the tiny and always timid Barnacle Blenny to the large and graceful swimming of the Whale Shark (Mr. Big). We are ready to show all the beauty of the Galapagos Islands Ocean with the professionalism you are looking for. Live aboard diving cruises including the Darwin and Wolf islands are recommended for intermediate and advanced divers with experience in strong currents. A 7 mm wet suit is necessary.
Included in the Galapagos Diving Cruise are:
Accommodations on board in 8 double cabins with private bathrooms and air conditioning.
All meals, purified drinking water, coffee and tea.
On board amenities include a large
preparation area, air compressor, Nitrox tanks, weights and diving equipment.
Fully
air conditioned social areas. 7 crew members plus a bilingual naturalist dive master.
All transfers in Galapagos.
All safety equipment complies with international Coast Guard and DAN regulations.
Insurance is not included in the programs although we highly recommend that all divers
carry their own DAN insurance.
Not included are:
National Park Fee: $100.00, Personal Diving Equipment: wet suits, regulators, BCD, fins, masks, etc ...
Itinerary:
Day 1: Monday: San Cristobal; check out dive and land visit at Sea Lion island.
Day 2: Tuesday: North Seymour; 2 dives & land visit.
Day 3: Wednesday: Wolf, 4 dives.
Day 4: Thursday: Darwin, 4 dives.
Day 5: Friday: Wolf and Darwin, 2 -
Day 6: Saturday: Cousins Rock, 2 dives & Bartolome land visit.
Day 7: Sunday: Puerto Ayora; Charles Darwin Research Station.
Day 8: Monday: San Cristobal, transfer to the airport.
